When I setup the two without tuners to share the RecordedTV folder of the one with tuners using a HomeGroup , all is ok, almost. If I am using one of the non-tuner machines to view recorded shows and a new recording starts on the tuner machine I will see that show appear but it has no metadata, a length of 1 minute and the full filename as the title.

Even after the show is done recording this is how it continues to show up on the non-tuner machines. Reboot makes no difference. In fact the only way I have found to fix it is to clear the remote RecordedTV folder from the library on the non-tuner machines then add it back. This seems to make MCE rescan all recorded tv content on the tuner machine and thus fix the problem. This really is a huge usability issue for me.

The filename as title issue is the biggest problem as it keeps the show from being grouped with other episodes of the same show. Now I am not sure this is going to work out.
