Sick and tired of anytime I start chrome or quit, I get the screen that says it wants to make changes. In other words update. I even tried changing the filename. Win 10 pro. We have checked and the first option is working fine in Windows 11 and Windows 10 Pro.
Probably you can reinstall Chrome and try again. This helped. Tried so many websites, all being inconclusive but this was perfect. Didnt even go past the first one because it worked wonders. Try as I might I am not able to change or delete the folder for updates. I will try again in both Safe Mode and as Administrator. I would not mind so much about the updates except that my system bogs down while they download and my processor makes horrible noises which is why I stopped them before.
